Ex-Meta duo unveils Stream, a voice-to-note smart ring šļø
Two ex-Meta designers launched Sandbarās Stream, a smart ring that captures whispered voice notes with a press, chats via an AI assistant, and doubles as a music controller.
The iOS app organizes and edits notes; data control and exports are promised. Preorders start at $249 ($299 gold), shipping next summer, with a $10/month Pro tier after 3 free months. Sandbar raised $13M.

An AI-generated country song, āWalk My Walk, ā by fictional act Breaking Rust, just hit No. 1 on Billboardās Country Digital Song Sales, amid millions of Spotify streams and a āverifiedā artist page.
With labels like UMG partnering with AI platforms such as Udio and Spotify experimenting with synthetic tracks, the rise of AI-generated music is redefining creativity rather than replacing it. Many see this as a new frontier, where artists collaborate with algorithms to explore sounds and genres that were never possible before.
Kosmos debuts as an AI Scientist for real research š
FutureHouseās next-gen AI Scientist, Kosmos, uses structured world models to synthesize hundreds of agent trajectories, reading ~1, 500 papers and running 42, 000 lines of analysis per run. Beta users say one run equals ~6 months of work with ~79% accuracy.
It reproduced and generated new findings across neuroscience, genetics, and materials, with traceable outputs. Now offered by Edison Scientific at $200/run (free tier for academics), with caveats around rabbit holes.

In the new chat section, click on the ā+ā icon
Choose Agent mode
Ask a prompt you want to see repeated every week, like research or computer use. Example: Go to my twitter every week and publish the latest news in AI, in a short summary.
After ChatGPT agent finishes all the tasks, the click on the 3 dots in the answer and click āscheduleā put it weekly and thatās it!
