ChatGPT adds Gmail, Calendar, and Contacts connectors 🔗

OpenAI is rolling out Google Gmail, Calendar, and Contacts connectors for ChatGPT, letting the assistant reference your emails, events, and contacts directly in chats.
Available to Pro, Plus, Team, Enterprise, and Edu users; enable via Settings > Connectors > Connect, or it’s already active if you’ve granted Deep Research access. The update builds on existing connectors like Dropbox to streamline workflows by pulling relevant info into conversations.
AI comes to Excel cells with the new COPILOT formula 🤖

Microsoft is adding a native =COPILOT() function to Excel on Windows and Mac that lets you write natural-language prompts referencing cells and ranges to summarize, classify, brainstorm, and generate lists or tables that spill into the grid.
The LLM can’t access web or internal docs unless you import them. There are usage limits (100 calls/10 minutes, 300/hour) and early quirks (dates returned as text, some large-array issues), with improvements planned; it’s available now to Beta Channel users with a Microsoft 365 Copilot license (Win 2509+, Mac 16.101+), with web rollout via Frontier coming soon.
GPT-5 Outperforms Human Doctors in Medical Reasoning 🩺

A new study reveals GPT-5 surpasses human doctors in both text and visual medical diagnosis tasks. Benchmarked against datasets like MedQA, USMLE, and MedXpertQA, GPT-5 showed up to +29.4% improvement over human experts in understanding and reasoning.
Its zero-shot chain-of-thought capabilities enable it to analyze patient narratives, structured data, and medical images under a unified protocol, marking a major leap toward AI-powered clinical decision support.
