Anthropic brings Claude directly into Excel workflows 📊

Anthropic has launched “Claude in Excel” as a beta research preview for Claude Pro, Max, Team, and Enterprise users. The assistant can read and explain entire workbooks, including nested formulas and cross-tab dependencies, with cell-level citations for verification.
It also helps run what-if scenarios while preserving formulas, flags and explains changes, debugs common Excel errors like #REF! and circular references, and can draft or populate models without breaking template structure.
Waymo opens fully driverless rides in Miami 🚗

Waymo has begun offering its fully autonomous ride-hailing service to the public in Miami, starting with a 60-square-mile zone covering areas like Wynwood, Brickell, and Coral Gables, with airport service planned next. Nearly 10, 000 residents have signed up, and invites will roll out gradually.
Waymo cites 127M driverless miles and significantly fewer serious-injury crashes than human drivers, plus efforts around accessibility and community partnerships.
ChatGPT adds smarter voice, dictation, memory, and teen safeguards 🔊

OpenAI is rolling out several ChatGPT updates. Paid users get improved Voice that follows instructions better and avoids repeating custom instructions.
Plus and Pro users with chat history enabled will see stronger “memory” for finding specific details from past conversations, with the original chats shown as sources. All logged-in users get improved dictation with fewer blank transcriptions and better accuracy. A new age-prediction system will help apply teen safeguards, with selfie verification available if misclassified.
