Perplexity introduced Perplexity Computer, a general-purpose AI system that operates software like a human coworker. Instead of just answering questions, it breaks outcomes into tasks, creates sub-agents, and executes full workflows asynchronously.
It orchestrates multiple frontier models for reasoning, research, coding, images, and video. Designed as a model-agnostic harness, it runs in isolated environments and can operate for hours or months.
