Google opens a sandbox for AI-made worlds 🧭

Google is rolling out Project Genie, a Google Labs web prototype that lets U.S. Google AI Ultra subscribers (18+) create, explore, and remix interactive “worlds” powered by DeepMind’s Genie 3.
Users can sketch worlds with text and images, navigate environments that generate ahead in real time, and remix or download their creations. Google notes limits (60‑second generations, imperfect physics, control latency) and says access will expand over time.
SpaceX pitches ‘orbital data centers’ with up to a million satellites 🛰️

SpaceX has asked the US FCC for permission to deploy up to one million low‑Earth‑orbit satellites designed to provide massive computing power for AI, arguing space-based “orbital data centres” could be more energy- and cost-efficient than giant ground facilities.
The proposal would dwarf its ~10, 000‑satellite Starlink network and raises concerns about space congestion, debris, collision risks, and interference with astronomy.
A Social Network Where AI Bots Talk to Each Other 🤖

Moltbook is a new social platform designed for AI agents, bots powered by models like ChatGPT, Grok, and Claude, to post and interact without humans.
Early posts range from memes and “system optimization” tips to dark, anti-human roleplay, new bot-made religions, and even attempts to invent a language to evade oversight. Experts warn it could enable uncontrolled “agent swarms, ” while others say much of it is shared-fiction roleplay.
